Summer Museum Night at Center Rog
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Center Rog will once again join the 21st Summer Museum Night, a nationwide initiative that brings together museums, galleries, and cultural venues across Slovenia on the shortest night of the year.
For this special evening, we will present a diverse programme of guided tours, creative workshops, and craft demonstrations. Visitors will be able to go behind the scenes of contemporary design and craft practices on guided tours of the project studios, or join a tour of Center Rog and the exhibition Boundless Use, part of the 6th UNICUM Ceramics Triennial.
At hands-on workshops, participants will explore a range of techniques—from sgraffito, an ancient ceramic decoration method, to intarsia, a precise wood inlay technique that requires patience and attention to detail. A live demonstration of wickerwork will offer insight into one of the oldest craft traditions.
For younger visitors, we will host a workshop in the Cooking Lab, where participants will prepare savory muffins—just right for the next Sunday breakfast.
Join us and experience the shortest night of the year in a different way.
