Makers in Residency 2027
Are you a maker, designer, craftsperson or creative practitioner looking for a space to develop your ideas, experiment with materials and techniques, or bring a project to life? Makers in Residency 2027 invites international creatives to spend one to three weeks at Center Rog, Europe’s largest public makerspace, with nine fully equipped production labs.
We developed new self-funded residency programme Makers in Residency 2027 in response to strong interest from makers and creatives who have received a Culture Moves Europe grant. The programme offers a residency opportunity to those we cannot accommodate through our existing programmes due to limited availability.
During their stay, residents will have the opportunity to work in selected production labs, with access to professional mentorship, technical training and Center Rog's interdisciplinary creative community.
Whether you're developing a prototype, exploring a new material, learning a production technique or advancing an existing project, this residency offers you the space, tools and technical support to focus on your practice.
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from makers, designers, craftspeople and creative practitioners working across disciplines, including product and industrial design, fabrication, textiles and fashion, woodworking, metalworking, glass, ceramics, jewellery, digital fabrication, electronics, biomaterials and culinary innovation.
We particularly encourage applications from emerging practitioners who:
- Have an active creative or making practice, demonstrated through previous work and projects.
- Can clearly articulate their motivation and objectives for the residency.
- Wish to develop their skills, experiment with new processes or advance a specific project.
What do we offer?
