Mateja Žugman

Mateja Žugman is the founder of the Londonna Murano jewelry brand, where waste materials are given a new purpose and become precious pieces with a story. She is inspired by the values of her ancestors – respect for the things we have and belief in the endless possibilities of transformation. She also makes Murano glass beads using the lampwork technique and incorporates them into contemporary, bold pieces. At Center Rog, she is developing the rEcollection project, where she will collect waste materials from production labs and transform them into a jewelry collection. The project raises awareness about sustainability, the consumption of natural resources, and the impact of the fashion industry, and will be complemented by workshops on making jewelry from waste materials.
