Workshop for Children: My Plate Can Be ...

In this short workshop, children will get acquainted with clay and create their own plates. They will draw a template with the desired motif, then roll, model, shape, and color with engobes. The workshop itself offers a variety of possibilities as each child can make a plate in the shape of their favorite animal. The plate will later be glazed by the Center Rog team and ready for pick-up in approximately 10 days.

The workshop is suitable for children aged 8-14. It encourages creativity and manual skills, allows for the exploration of clay as a material, teaches the basics of clay modeling, and children will create practical items for everyday use.

The mentors for the workshop will be Anja Radović, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, specializing in unique glass and ceramic design, and Ines Polončič, who graduated from the Faculty of Education in Ljubljana and later specialized in traditional Slovenian pottery techniques and decorative arts.

The gathering of participants is 5 minutes before the agreed-upon time in the entrance hall of the Rog Center. Children participate in the workshop without the accompaniment of parents.

The workshop will be conducted with a minimum of 4 registrations. In the event of non-execution, you will be notified no later than two days before the start of the program.
