Wooden table hockey (in Slovenian)
11. 6. 2026
Join us for a workshop in the Wood Lab, where we will create a wooden table hockey game together — a playful and dynamic two-player game that combines skill, speed, and a touch of friendly competition.
We will learn the basic processes of woodworking, including the use of a circular saw and a mitre saw, working with an orbital sander, and properly preparing and assembling individual components. From pre-cut materials, we will build the playing surface, and shape the game pucks from wooden dowels.
Once the construction is complete, we will finish the game by oiling the wood and tightening the elastic bands that give the game its distinctive rhythm.
Of course, we will also put our creations to the test — with a short tournament to see how the games perform in action.
The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in working with wood and wanting to leave with a functional, handmade object.
