Creative Workshop at FabLab (2nd Session)

Are you between 12 and 17 years old and have an idea you'd love to bring to life? Are you creative and excited about 3D printers, laser cutters, or electronic circuits? Would you like access to FabLab’s machines to develop your project, but still need a little help?

Join the mentoring program for young makers and innovators, starting in July at FabLab. It takes place every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The program is intended for all young people already working on their own projects at home, but who aren’t quite ready to work independently during the open lab sessions and still need some advice or support with realization.

Sessions are held on Thursdays. You register by purchasing a 4-visit package. We begin with a free introductory session on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM. If you don’t use all your visits from one package, you can still attend during the next set of sessions—so no worries if you're away on vacation, nothing is lost and you won’t miss out!

• 1st package: July 10, July 17, July 24, and August 7, 2025
• 2nd package: August 14, August 21, August 28, and September 4, 2025
• 3rd package: September 11, September 18, September 25, and October 2, 2025
• if there is enough interest, the program will continue

Bring your idea, the materials you need to make it happen, your curiosity, and your creative energy—the rest we’ll discover together.

Materials are not included in the price of the program. You can bring your own (e.g. filament for 3D printing, plywood or MDF boards, etc.) or buy them at the Made in Rog store.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled session in the entrance lobby of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which will be shown to you by the mentor. Please do not be late, as it disrupts the workflow. In case of tardiness, we unfortunately cannot guarantee entry to the lab.

The program is conducted in Slovene, unless otherwise stated.

If the workshop is canceled, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the participation fee is non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. However, you may transfer your spot to someone else—please let us know at least 24 hours before the program by emailing: fablab@center-rog.si
