Porcelain Ornaments
4. 12. 2025
The most beautiful Christmas ornaments are the ones we make ourselves. In this workshop, under the guidance of Bojana Ristevski Mlaker (Juha Studio) and Julia Draškoci Ropert, participants will create their own series of porcelain ornaments — from casting to coloring and finishing.
We will start by pouring porcelain into plaster molds to create porcelain balls. Then, we will roll out clay porcelain, cut and shape it into various motifs (stars, hearts, drops, etc.). The pieces will be decorated with colored porcelain, underglaze colors, and textures.
What do you take home?
Each participant will make three porcelain balls of different sizes and ten hanging ornaments. Firing and glazing will be done by the Ceramics Lab team, and the finished pieces can be collected in December at the Made in Rog store.
Prerequisites: No prior experience is required.
