Design and Print Your Own Moving Animal
8. 8. 2026
Would you like to create a fish that wiggles its tail or an octopus that moves its tentacles? In this workshop, children will become designers and create their own articulated 3D toy—from the first sketch to the finished print.
Participants will start by drawing their idea on paper and making a simple cardboard model. They will then use an AI-powered tool to transform their design into a 3D model, ready for printing.
During the workshop, children will discover the basics of 3D printing and learn how artificial intelligence can support the creative process. They will develop creativity, spatial thinking and problem-solving skills while designing a unique moving toy.
Because 3D printing takes time, some models may not be finished by the end of the workshop. Finished prints can be collected later from the FabLab.
