Circular Bioeconomy: The Rise or Decline of Circular Investments?

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, we will host the second meeting of the National Hub for Bioeconomy at Center Rog.
The focus will be on private investments in the transition to a circular bioeconomy. The discussion will primarily address untapped opportunities in Slovenia and the potential for developing new circular value chains. We will explore why barriers still exist in Slovenia for effectively financing innovative solutions that could accelerate the breakthrough of the Slovenian economy, strengthen its resilience, international competitiveness, and sustainability.
The goal of the meeting is to connect lesser-known stakeholders in the bioeconomy with representatives of capital, private investors, and banks. Therefore, we will present specific business practices in the field of circular bioeconomy that are ripe for investment.
The event is organized by the National Hub for Bioeconomy in cooperation with the Slovenian-German Chamber of Commerce, represented by the keynote speaker Simon Franko, General Manager of BASF Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia.
