Animation on a turntable / 9-14 years

Animated films can only be experienced as visual arts. In reality, however, there is a lot of math behind them. At the workshop, we will see what kind of effect do different ratios between the number of frames and the playback speed have on moving images. Using a laser cutter, we will cut circular forms from paper, each with a different number of fields. Then, we will draw images on the circles and play our animation on a real turntable.
