Vietnamese dinner - the most famous dishes

At the Center Rog, we have already organized the Vietnamese dinner three times, where we enjoyed tasting traditional dishes that the Vietnamese love to eat with family and friends.

At this workshop, we will refresh the menu and prepare some of the most iconic dishes from Vietnamese cuisine, such as spring rolls and fragrant chicken noodle soup. The workshop will be led by Pham Nina – a Vietnamese woman who will also share many interesting facts about her homeland and Vietnamese cuisine.

What’s on the menu this time?

• Fresh spring rolls with shrimp and two sauces
  Delicate rice rolls filled with fresh vegetables and shrimp, served with two excellent homemade sauces.
  
• Chicken noodles with aromatic sauce
  A rich, aromatic broth with tender chicken and delicious sauce. This dish is filling, yet healthy and free of fried oils.
  
• Vietnamese fruit salad with coconut dressing
  A refreshing mix of seasonal fruits, drizzled with a creamy coconut dressing.
  
• Authentic Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk
  Prepared with a traditional filter, the perfect conclusion to the meal.
  

The dishes we will prepare and enjoy together are not only incredibly tasty but also beautifully presented. Since we also eat with our eyes, we will discuss plating techniques during the workshop so that you can recreate these stunning dishes at home and impress your family and friends.

About the mentor:
The workshop will be led by Pham Nina, a Vietnamese woman who, before moving to Slovenia, managed a network of Vietnamese restaurants specializing in noodles. She loves cooking and socializing with people, which is why she plans to open a Vietnamese restaurant in Slovenia in the near future and organize numerous events related to Vietnamese culture and cuisine.

Please gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Kindly store your personal belongings in the locker rooms, which the instructor will show you. Please do not be late as it will disturb the work process. Unfortunately, if you are late, we will not be able to provide you with access to the lab.

In case of cancellation, we will notify you two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, we do not offer refunds for the registration fee, nor can the date be changed. However, you can transfer your participation to another person; please inform us at least 24 hours before the start of the program via email at kuhanje@center-rog.si.
