Training: Glass Kilns
18. 8. 2025
The training on kiln operation and mold preparation for working with glass is designed for anyone who wants to gain in-depth knowledge of using, programming, and maintaining glass kilns. You will learn how to properly care for kilns, clean them, and load them, while also getting acquainted with the different types of kilns used in the Glass Lab.
In addition to technical skills, you will have the opportunity to practice two exciting glassworking techniques:
- Fusing – joining pieces of glass into a single composition
- Glass casting – shaping glass using molds
