Training: clay 3D printer

The training for 3D clay printing is intended for beginners who are getting acquainted with the technology of 3D clay printing and want to independently use the WASP 3D printer in the Glass and Ceramics Lab.

During the training, we will learn the basic techniques for using the 3D clay printing machine through demonstrations, as well as the necessary tools and materials. We will discover how to prepare the clay, fill the piston, and set up the machine for use. After the training, participants will have a foundational understanding of 3D clay printing and be prepared for further exploration of this technology.

We will also print smaller things, which will be later glazed and baked by the Ceramics Lab team. Participants will be able to pick them up at the Made in Rog shop within 1 month after the training.

The training will be led by Tomo Per.

Training is suitable for participants aged 14 or older.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

The program is intended for participants older than 14 years, except where noted otherwise.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: steklokeramika@center-rog.si
