Stamp with a bee

Do you still remember the little bee stamp, the one for "the diligent" that we - some more successfully than others - collected in our school notebooks? In the workshop, each child will draw their own diligent bee, from which we'll create a real stamp with a laser. With the help of other artistic tools, we'll also collectively design our own bee city. Each child will take home their unique bee stamp, where you can create a new game of collecting bees together.

During the workshop, we'll also discuss this legendary bee from our school notebooks, which encouraged us at school. We'll also talk about urban bees and other pollinators, why they're important, where they live, and thus mark World Bee Day, celebrated every year on May 20th. Two bee families now reside on the roof of the Center Rog.

The workshop is suitable for children aged 6 and above, and no prior knowledge is required.

About the mentors:

The workshop will be led by Jelena Marković and Minea Sončan Mihajlović from the workshop SITAR 1920, where the legendary bee has been made for decades.

The gathering of participants is 15 minutes before the agreed time in the entrance hall of the Center Rog. Please store personal items in the lockers before the program begins. Do not be late for the program. In case of late arrival, entry is not guaranteed - participation in the creative process cannot be joined after it has started!

The workshop will be conducted with a minimum of 6 registrations. In case of non-execution, you will be informed at least two days before the start of the program.

In case of non-participation, fees will not be refunded, nor is it possible to change the term. Participation can be transferred to another person, please notify us at least 24 hours before the start of the workshop at the email address: fablab@center-rog.si.
