Ring - "Embrace of Two Hearts"

During the four-hour creative workshop in the jewelry lab, we will create a modern metal ring in the shape of a heart and learn the basics of sawing, drilling, filing, and grinding metal using various goldsmith tools. We will start by working on a small piece of sheet metal, which we will first draw according to the instructions of the mentors and then saw to give it the shape of a heart. We will learn how to measure and determine the size of the ring, which needs to be considered even during its design phase. The sawn motif will then be filed and polished, and with the help of a diamond sponge, we will add the final texture, giving the new ring an interesting pattern and a special kind of shine.

Does participation in the workshop count as training?

YES, by participating in the workshop, you will complete training for the goldsmith's table 1st level (which otherwise costs 30 EUR for members/40 EUR for non-members).

The workshop will be led by jewelry designers Olga Košica and Metka Mikuletič.

Participants should gather 5 minutes before the agreed-upon time in the entrance hall of the Center Rog.

The workshop will be conducted with a minimum of 4 registrations. In case of non-execution, you will be notified at least two days before the start of the program.

We do not refund workshop fees, nor is it possible to change the date. However, participation in the workshop can be transferred to another person; please notify us at least 24 hours before the start via email at: nakit@center-rog.si.
