In the glass workshop, we will learn the basics of crystal glass casting using molds. By completing the course, you will have completed two different training sessions for working with glass!

The first day of the course will be dedicated to a theoretical introduction, where we will familiarize ourselves with the technique of casting crystal glass in molds made from a mixture of plaster and quartz powder. We will then focus on the practical part and start planning our product and creating clay models.

On the second day of the course, we will dedicate the entire day to creating molds for glass casting. Participants will be guided step-by-step on how to design and shape a mold that will serve as the base for their glass products. Once the molds are completed, we will ensure they are properly prepared for firing, and the workshop will conclude with stacking the molds in the kiln.

On the third day of the course, we will focus on the final stages and finishing of the products. We will start by removing the molds from the kiln and cleaning the glass. This will be followed by a demonstration of how to use grinding machines, where we will delve into cold glass processing techniques.

The fourth and final day of the course will be entirely dedicated to completing projects and precise cold glass processing. We will pay more attention to grinding and polishing the products. This day will be dedicated to finalizing the unique items.
