Design in focus: Lara Bohinc

In March, we will host Lara Bohinc in the discussion series Design in Focus. She is a designer who, after completing her studies at the Royal College of Art in London, built an international career without shortcuts and without compromises.

Her journey is not a story about trends, but about a clear authorial stance, courage, and continuously crossing boundaries between jewelry, product and spatial design, and more.

We are interested in how a designer thinks, who remains radically herself even when working for the largest international clients. How does she decide when to say no? And how do you build a career that does not confine you to one field, one style, or one role?

For her outstanding contribution to design, she was awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by the British Queen.
