Pendant or earrings with a spring motif for young people
29. 3. 2025
In the jewelry lab workshop, we will explore the entire process of making metal jewelry. The workshop is intended for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who are interested in jewelry design.
We will learn the basics of sawing, filing, and polishing metal, which will lead us to a perfect final product. We will start with small pieces of sheet metal, on which we will either glue or draw a chosen spring motif and saw it out according to the mentor's instructions. Afterward, we will file, polish, and prepare everything needed for hanging on a pendant or earrings. To make the jewelry even more colorful, we will color the prepared metal bases with different colored pencils and finish them as hanging earrings.
The workshop will be led by jewelry lab mentors and jewelry designers Dalija Sega and Tina Mežek.
The workshop is part of the 17th Bobri festival program and is therefore free for participants.
