We invite all little chefs to a workshop where we will explore the world of muffins.

We will bake both savory and sweet muffins. Using chickpea flour and fresh vegetables, we will make healthy savory muffins, while sweet muffins will be prepared with oat flour, fruit, and nuts.

During the workshop, children will learn how to prepare a basic batter and discover the unique properties of alternative flours. We will also let our creativity run wild, adding personalized toppings and mix-ins to make the muffins truly our own. Of course, we will taste all the muffins at the end – making the whole experience even sweeter!

This workshop is for children aged 8 to 12 who enjoy baking, discovering new flavors, and looking for ideas for simple, nutritious snacks – whether for everyday treats or special occasions. In addition to practical cooking skills, participants will learn how to combine ingredients and adapt recipes to seasonal produce.

Mentor:

The workshop will be led by Tjaša Ribič, a graduate dietitian who gained culinary experience as a chef in a vegan kitchen in New Zealand, where she lived for two and a half years. She is passionate about creating recipes, food photography and videography, and providing nutritional guidance.

Participants should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the main lobby of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers shown by the mentor. Punctuality is important, as late arrivals disrupt the workshop.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian, unless otherwise noted.

In case of cancellation, participants will be notified at least two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend, the fee is non-refundable and the session cannot be rescheduled. Participation may be transferred to another person if the organizers are informed at least 24 hours in advance at kuhanje@center-rog.si.

We look forward to welcoming you and creating together.
