Small Animals

The creative ceramics workshop is designed for shaping unique, imaginary animal figures from clay, which participants then transform into charms—for holiday decorations, personal amulets, or mini sculptures.

The focus is on playfulness, manual skills, and personal expression through shaping and painting. Small Animals have been a holiday favorite of the Mala Maja brand for many years, but this time participants have the chance to create their very own little animal themselves.

The workshop is intended for adults and young people (16+) interested in hands-on creativity, experimenting with clay, and playful design. No prior experience is required—the workshop is accessible both to beginners and those looking to enhance their skills in ceramics or hand-painting.

About the Mentor:

The workshop will be led by Maja Kotar, a graduate in Visual Communication Design, active in graphic design and ceramics. Under the brand Mala Maja, she creates unique ceramic pieces, graphics, and other visual and functional products. She is passionate about combining materials and various techniques.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

The program is intended for participants older than 14 years, except where noted otherwise.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: steklokeramika@center-rog.si
