Wooden plant stand
26. 6. 2025

You are invited to a hands-on workshop in the wood lab, where you will create a beautiful wooden plant stand with your own hands.
In the workshop, you will learn two basic wood-joining techniques (butt joint and mortise-and-tenon joint), get introduced to simple hand tools, and gain basic knowledge about wood surface protection. Each participant, under the guidance of the workshop leader, will independently cut the wood, assemble the stand, sand it, and oil it for a nice finish and durability.
The best part is that everyone can customize their piece – bring the measurements (or even the pot) of your flowerpot and create a stand perfectly fitted to it!
This workshop is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to peek into the world of wood and discover how easy it is to make an aesthetic and useful piece for your home with some basic knowledge and effort. No prior experience is needed – just a good mood and a desire to create!
About the mentor:
The workshop will be led by Anže Jenko, mentor in the wood lab.
