Cooking Workshop with Gaber and Primož

The cooking workshop with Gaber and Primož is an intergenerational culinary experience, where parent (or grandparent, aunt, uncle) and child (ages 8 and up) team up in the kitchen. Participants will work in pairs under the guidance of Primož and Gaber Dolničar, learning basic cooking skills and the importance of collaboration in a relaxed environment.

The goal of the workshop is to prepare a festive meal together, which we will enjoy at the end. Together, we will create a three-course menu:

• Starter: Tuna tartare
• Main course: Braised radicchio with poached egg and slow-roasted pork belly
• Dessert: Surprise dessert

During the hands-on cooking, participants will learn kitchen basics, task organization, and teamwork. A unique feature of this workshop is the mentorship from a father and son from two different generations, offering an inspiring and educational experience. Please note: the festive menu includes meat dishes, so this workshop is not suitable for vegetarians.

The workshop fee is per participant. Please register yourself and your child.

Mentors

Primož Dolničar is the first Slovenian chef to have his own show on 24Kitchen. He will share cooking tips and experiences while seasoning the workshop with anecdotes from his culinary adventures.

Gaber Dolničar is a high school student who, together with his father Primož, has been cooking in their TV show Okusi 2 generacij (Tastes of 2 Generations) for three seasons. He will bring a youthful, relaxed, and inspiring perspective to the kitchen.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store your personal belongings in the lockers, which the mentor will show you. Please be on time, as late arrivals disrupt the workflow. In the case of a delay, entry to the lab cannot be guaranteed.

The program will be conducted in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

In case of cancellation, you will be notified two days before the scheduled start.

If you are unable to attend the program, the registration fee is non-refundable, and it is not possible to change the date. You can transfer your participation to another person, but please notify us at least 24 hours before the program begins at the email address: kuhanje@center-rog.si
