Crochet Sessions

In the Crochet Sessions, we will strengthen basic crochet skills and practice advanced techniques together. The program is designed for teenagers and adults with basic crochet knowledge and registration is open to both more experienced crocheters and hobby crafters.

The goal of the sessions is to build on our knowledge, exchange experiences, and create a welcoming community through hands-on work. Crochet also brings relaxation, creative satisfaction, and positive social and therapeutic effects.

What we will do:

• Review basic stitches
• Learn more advanced stitches
• Read and create patterns
• Make various projects based on patterns
• Develop individual projects

Dates of the Sessions:

• Every Monday, 18:30–20:00
• Start: September 15, 2025
• End: May 2026 (exact date to be confirmed)
• Some sessions may change due to holidays or breaks, in consultation with participants

Prerequisites: Basic crochet knowledge.

Mentor:
Ivana Drakulić works in ethnology and film arts. She has been passionate about crochet since childhood and enjoys learning new techniques. Originally from Slovakia, she has led multiple crochet workshops and courses for adults and children in Ljubljana, Vrhnika, and the Technical Museum of Slovenia in Bistra.

Participants should gather 15 minutes before the scheduled session in the entrance hall of Center Rog. Please store personal belongings in the lockers provided by the instructor. Punctuality is essential, as late arrivals may disrupt the workflow.

The program is conducted in Slovenian unless otherwise indicated.

If the sessions are canceled, participants will be notified two days before the planned start date.

Participation fees are non-refundable, and rescheduling is not possible. Attendance can be transferred to another person, but please inform us at least 24 hours before the start of the program at: tekstil@center-rog.si.
