Training for the 'workbench with machines' workstation includes an introduction to a range of indispensable machines for working with solid wood. This is a workstation where the wood is processed and prepared for the final product.

The woodworking workbench, or 'ponk', includes a selection of hand and power tools. Additionally, you can also use a circular saw, a band saw, a combination planer, a belt edge sander and a horizontal belt sander. The training will teach you the safe and correct use of various woodworking machines and the workflow in our wood lab.

The training is suitable for beginners, who will learn why and how each machine is used, basic techniques for working with solid wood on a test workpiece and safety at work.

More advanced users who already have experience, you will learn about specific machines in the wood lab that will enable you to tackle more complex projects independently.

Training is suitable for participants aged 14 or older.
