Bobbin Lace Meet-Up

The Bobbin Lace Meet-Up is intended for participants who already have some prior knowledge of bobbin lace making and would like to continue developing their skills in the company of other lacemakers.

At regular Friday meetings, we will exchange experience, knowledge, ideas and practical advice in a relaxed creative setting. The meet-up is a space for working together, talking and further exploring bobbin lace making – from patterns and techniques to the small challenges that are easier to solve in good company.

The meet-up is led by Majda Jurkovič, an experienced lacemaker, in cooperation with the Ljubljana Bobbin Lace Society.

Prior knowledge of bobbin lace making is required. Please bring your own lace pillow, bobbins and pattern.

Schedule

The meet-up will take place on Fridays, from 18 September 2026 to 18 June 2027, from 17:00 to 19:00.

Participants should gather 5 minutes before the start in the entrance hall of Center Rog.

The programme is held in Slovenian unless stated otherwise.

The programme is intended for adult participants with prior knowledge of bobbin lace making.
