Urban October at Center Rog

On Thursday, October 24, we will host the Faculty of Design at Center Rog, as part of Urban October, for a day full of inspiring discussions, lectures, and global insights into human-centered design, sustainable practices, and the textile heritage of the Alpine region.

From keynote speeches by leading experts such as Prof. Thomas Garvey (President of the World Design Organization) to in-depth panel discussions with design innovators from Europe and beyond, we will explore how creativity and design can shape a better, more sustainable world.

The program will start at 10:00 AM in the small hall at Center Rog. The highlights of the day will surely include:

• Keynote speeches on the global impact of design
• Design Talks: Round table discussions on design with experts from Slovenia, the UK, Turkey, India, Belgium, and other countries
• Guest lectures as part of AlpTextyles, where textile heritage merges with contemporary sustainable practices
• Workshops led by experienced professionals, focusing on creating a greener future through material innovations
