The program of the 15th Ljubljana Fashion Week (LJFW) at Center Rog
On Monday, October 7th, Ljubljana Fashion Week (LJFW) begins at Center Rog and will last until Friday, October 11th. Over five days, visitors will be able to enjoy 43 fashion shows. There will also be a panel discussion on sustainability, fashion, and gender. The children's clothing brand HISHKA, based in one of the studios at Center Rog, will also be presented.
At this year’s 15th Ljubljana Fashion Week (LJFW), both renowned local and international fashion designers will showcase their collections. Fashion shows will take place every day from 6:00 PM onwards in the large hall of Center Rog. As in previous years, visitors can purchase tickets for individual days through Eventim. A detailed schedule of the fashion shows is available on the LJFW website.
On Tuesday, October 8th, at 11:00 AM, there will be a panel discussion titled PogovorILLY: A discussion on sustainability, fashion, and gender, moderated by Uroš Topić, head of the textile lab. Dragan Hristov and Maja Šimunović, currently on residency, Jelena Proković and Nataša Peršuh, working in the Center Rog studios, as well as Peter Škulj, will discuss the current trend of gender-neutral clothing and how they are produced in the context of sustainable materials and fair trade in the supply chain. The panel will be particularly interesting for those interested in the intersection of fashion and social and ecological issues.
The same day, at 12:00 PM, the HISHKA brand will present its collection, the circular system Hishka, and the Digital Estimation Tool.
The jubilee Ljubljana Fashion Week will conclude on Friday, October 11th, with the WOW Awards ceremony.
