Neighbor Day 2025: Pottery Wheel Spinning Competition

Competition rules:

• Amount of clay: Each participant receives 3 kg of clay.
• Preparation time: Each participant has 10 minutes before the start to prepare the clay (kneading).
• Spinning time: Then follows 15 minutes of spinning on the pottery wheel.
• Goal: Create a piece with a minimum diameter of 10 cm. The height of the cylinder will be measured.
• Retries: Participants can start over but will not receive additional clay – they must work with the same clay they already have.
• Judging: After the time is up, height and diameter will be evaluated.
