Creative Futures: EU Funding and Project Development
You are invited to a free 3-day online training for creatives.
What is the programme?
Do you have a creative idea but are unsure how to develop it into a concrete project or find suitable funding? Join this three-day online training designed for creatives and cultural professionals who want to better understand European funding opportunities and gain essential skills for developing and planning creative projects.
Through mentorship, practical examples, and interactive discussions, you will learn the basics of project planning, proposal development, and international collaboration.
Who is the programme for?
The programme is intended for:
- creatives and cultural professionals at the beginning of their careers,
- artists, designers, craftspeople, and other creatives interested in European funding opportunities,
- individuals wishing to develop creative projects or international collaborations,
- anyone looking to gain foundational knowledge in project planning and funding applications.
No prior experience with European projects or applications is required.
What will you do?
During the programme, you will:
- explore European funding opportunities for the cultural and creative sectors,
- develop and refine your project idea,
- learn how to transform an idea into a structured project concept,
- identify calls that match your interests and goals,
- participate in mentoring sessions, discussions, and Q&A sessions,
- prepare a draft project concept,
- present your idea to mentors and peers and receive feedback.
Before the programme begins, you will receive a preparation guide with key information, instructions, and supporting materials.
What will you gain?
By the end of the programme, you will:
- develop a project concept based on your creative idea,
- gain a basic understanding of European funding programmes,
- strengthen your project planning and proposal-writing skills,
- improve your ability to clearly present and advocate for your ideas,
- build confidence for future project development and applications,
- become part of an international network of creatives.

Selection criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Your creative vision
Interest or experience in creative practices, culture, architecture, design, or craft, and motivation to develop your own projects.
- Your interest in the programme themes
Motivation for creative development, international collaboration, project work, and European funding opportunities.
- English language skills
A level sufficient for active participation in an international environment.
Important information
Selected participants are expected to attend all programme activities and actively engage throughout. Full attendance is required to receive the certificate of completion.
Before the programme begins, all selected participants will sign an agreement outlining programme goals, participation expectations, and conditions for certification.
