Craftwork4.0All Live residencies: International opportunities for makers

What does the programme offer?

Makers will work together with a partner from another country to develop and produce a collaborative physical product, which will be showcased at the European Craftwork4.0All exhibition. The residencies allow:

• to explore new materials, tools and techniques,
• to transfer knowledge in a stimulating and professional environment,
• to raise the professional level of one's own practice,
• to expand one's international network and increase one's visibility in the European space.

Locations and duration

The residencies will take place in 13 countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

The duration of each residency will be one, two or three weeks.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to creators and makers from all EU Member States and from countries participating in the Creative Europe Programme, including Albania, Iceland, Kosovo, Norway, Tunisia, Ukraine and others. The residencies will take place in pairs, made up of individuals from different countries. The pairs will be formed in the course of the kick-off meetings (see below).

What is covered by the programme?

Selected participants will have their expenses fully covered for:

• travel,
• accommodation,
• subsistence,
• materials and tools for the work.

Introductory online meetings – compulsory to participate in the application

Before applying for the residency programme, it is compulsory to attend all the introductory online meetings, where the themes, working conditions, equipment, materials and procedures for the formation of the creative pairings will be presented.

Online meeting dates:

• 19 September 2025 (15:00-19:00): General presentation of all available residencies
• 26 September 2025 (15:00-17:00): Presentation of residencies in Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Ireland and Italy
• 3 October 2025 (15:00-17:00): Presentation of residencies in Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden
• 10 October 2025 (15:00-18:00): Design of maker pairs for residencies in Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Ireland and Italy
• 17 October 2025 (15:00-18:00): Design of Maker Pairs for residencies in Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden
